The course is intended for students who want to improve their skills of the Russian language with regard to specific subjects, which will be discussed and analysed. The main focus lies therefore not so much on the systematic teaching of grammar skills, but on the engagment with different academic topics in the Russian language. Some of the topics will be related to studies offered at the BOKU, however the course also covers other subjects and welcomes students from other Austrian universities. Subjects will include the Russian education and university system (including demography and geography of Russian universities) or aspects of Russian economy and the activities of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

A2 of the European Reference System (or BOKU courses Russian I - IV).
- Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)
The course will help you to read and understand academic texts relevant to BOKU specific subjects and will further allow you to develop an understanding of academic and professional culture and language in Russia.
