Advanced Animal Breeding (Spezielle Tierzucht, 932.306)
!! Students of the BOKU-Master Program Livestock Sciences (Nutztierwissenschaften) are only admitted to this course after passing the exam in Advanced Animal Breeding (Spezielle Tierzucht) !!
- Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)
Methodical deepening of the basic process of designing and optimizing breeding programs, which was shortly discussed in the subject Advanced Animal Breeding (Master Program Livestock Sciences). Demonstration of application of designing and optimizing breeding programs through modeling and evaluation of alternative breeding programs in cattle based on a practical example.
