Content

Health, sickness, curing of animals in organic agriculture; basics of veterinary homeopathy;
Homeopathy: case survey, assessment of symptoms, repertorisation, indications, application, dosage, case studies in groups, research projects; stock survey, rehabilitation and caring in the case of mastitis;
Plant therapy: basics and application in livestock medicine;
Endo- and ectoparasites: conditions, prophylaxis, curing, complementary medical options (cases in cattle, pigs, horses, small ruminants, commercial poultry).

Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)

Understanding the relevance of breeding, feeding and husbandry in connection with animal health in organic agriculture.
Get to know alternative medical approaches like homeopathy and plant therapy.
