Fundamentals in scientific methodology and scientific communication; scientific information recherche and scientific information management techniques; basics in scientific writing; structuring scientific publications, citation rules; visualisation; presentation techniques, making diagrams; home-exercises on selected topics: title finding, tightening a scientific text, creating various types of visuals, structuring an oral presentation and a poster.

Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)

Learning outcomes:
students know about fundamentals of scientific work and scientific communication
students have theoretical and practical skills in collecting scientific information
students have skills in scientific writing and structuring of various types of scientific publications
students have skills in creating and applying scientific visuals
students are able to create posters
