An Approach for Turkish Agriculture: Group Farming
The need for economic growth in agriculture was based on high efficiency in the utilization of all productive factors, especially land and machinery. The holdings on Turkish agriculture have many parts of land within the smallest parcels.
Small scale of economy prevents to get high productivity of some production factors. It is inevitable to implement land reform or to organize some regulations for group farming. Group farming is based on jointly used productive factors and performances making better than the individual farming system. In this study, group farming in some countries and Turkey was discussed and some steps for developing of group farming in Turkey were proposed.
