2016 call for the

JUBILÄUMSFONDS der Stadt Wien für die Universität für Bodenkultur Wien

City of Vienna Jubilee Funds for the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna

By establishing the "City of Vienna Jubilee Funds for the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna", the City of Vienna recognizes the cooperation with one of Vienna's most important universities on the occasion of BOKU's 140th anniversary in the year 2012.

The joint and coordinated work on questions by BOKU and the City of Vienna should promote potential synergies in science and economy.

The objectives of the established funds are to:

• strengthen scientific cooperation in key issues for the City of Vienna and the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna,
• intensify collaboration between science and economy in BOKU's fields of competence and entwined with the City of Vienna's business segments,
•promote the economic connections with sustainable developments and at the same time strengthen economy and life quality in Vienna,
• strengthen Vienna as a university and research location by bringing together activities of the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna and the City of Vienna,
• advancing young academics at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna.

II. BOKU Best Paper Awards

III. BOKU Talent Awards (for excellent Master theses and dissertations)

In 2016 the fund "Stadt Wien-BOKU Research Funding" promotes research projects on the topic „Preservation and development of habitat and life quality“

For the funds „BOKU Best Paper Awards“ and „BOKU Talent Awards“ papers from all BOKU-related topics are awarded. 

Deadline for submission for all of the mentioned funding instruments:
