* Current forest and land use problems in mountainous areas

Beginning of the thesis project

* Field work (in selected country/region)
* Data analysis

THIRD SEMESTER: Specialised knowledge

* Practical application of forest management with a focus on sustainability and specific technical and/or ecological problems

FOURTH SEMESTER: Thesis

* Data analysis
* Write-up
* Finalisation of thesis
